BioBarend joined Mentha Capital in 2017. He started his career 14 years before in strategy consulting. He held business development and top management positions in the Benelux with Grandvision N.V. He was also responsible for the commercial development of an optical retail chain in India, from start-up to market leadership. Barend holds a Masters degree in International Business and Economics from Tilburg University.
