BioAlexander (Sandy) Smart has over 30 years' experience of the private equity sector having joined 3i in 1978 where he gained early experience of investment in the SME sector. He then focussed on technology investing with Barclays Development Capital (now Equistone) before joining CVC as a VP and Director, and subsequently PVML (now Silverfleet), investing in larger LBOs / MBOs across all industry sectors.
