Its operations include field development, enhanced oil recovery, production optimization, reserve management, well workovers, and infrastructure management designed to maximize asset performance and recovery. Maverick serves domestic energy markets by supplying hydrocarbons to refiners, utilities, industrial customers, and natural gas distribution networks. The company was established in 2017 following the acquisition of substantially all of the assets of BreitBurn Energy Partners L.P. after BreitBurn's Chapter 11 restructuring, and continues to operate and expand a diversified portfolio of mature producing assets through strategic acquisitions.
