As of December 31, 2025, the company operated ten data centers across seven U.S. states with approximately 1.4 GW of gross utility power capacity. Core Scientific was incorporated in 2017 as MineCo Holdings, Inc. and changed its name to Core Scientific, Inc. in 2018. The company emerged from Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection in January 2024 and resumed trading on Nasdaq. Core Scientific, Inc. is headquartered in Dover, Delaware, United States.
