Michael Foisy

Mike joined HKW in January of 2008 and is currently our Lead Operating Partner. Mike leads the operations group, which supports our portfolio companies. Mike’s role includes assisting with deal selection, investment due diligence and portfolio company management. His greatest satisfaction comes from working with great management teams and supporting them as they grow their businesses.

Prior to joining HKW, Mike served as a Business Unit Manager for Sensata Technologies, a Bain Capital Partners, LLC Company. Previously, Mike held several financial and operational management positions at Control Devices, a former Portfolio company of HKW in the early 1990’s. After exiting HKW ownership through an initial public offering, Control Devices’ ownership changed a number of times through First Technology, then with Honeywell and Sensata. Through these changes, Mike continued to advance in financial and operational roles for First Technology and as Business Unit Manager under both Honeywell and Sensata ownership.

Mike earned an Undergraduate Degree in finance and accounting from the University of Maine and a Master’s Degree in management (MBA), from the University of New Hampshire.

Mike and his wife Jackie live in Kennebunk, ME with their three sons. They love living in Maine and spend as much time as possible enjoying the outdoors with their boys.
